Hi there!
In the words of Jay-Z, allow me to re-introduce myself…my name is Alissa and I’m a thirty-something year old living in Orlando, Florida with my dog Winston (aka the cutest dog ever).
I’m a native Floridian, growing up on the east coast of Florida, then moving to Gainesville where I was at the University of Florida for 7+ years for undergrad and law school (Go Gators!), and finally settling in Orlando.
In addition to being a diehard Gator fan, I enjoy baking, a good DIY project, devouring a great book, and spending time with family and friends. I also have this slight obsession with NKOTB (if you grew up in the 80s and 90s then you know what I’m talking about!).
I’m also an MSer (or, a person that suffers from multiple sclerosis). Though it doesn’t define me, it’s definitely something that is a part of me and, so, I’m super passionate about educating people, raising awareness, and helping to one day find a cure.
Coffee & Cocktails (which by the way are 2 of my favorite things) is my way to share my daily inspirations, as well as tidbits and experiences about living with an autoimmune disease. I hope you all will stop by and stop by often!
